Embed Verystep tools on your website
Any of the 171 tools on this site can live on yours — a working calculator, generator or checker inside your page, free.

Embedding a Verystep tool takes three steps: open the tool, copy the snippet from the “Embed this tool on your site” box on its page, and paste that snippet wherever your website builder accepts HTML. The tool then runs live on your page, in your reader’s browser. It is free, it needs no account or API key, and the only condition is that the small “Powered by Verystep” link stays in place.
How do you embed a Verystep tool?
- Open any tool — say the Compound Interest Calculator — and scroll to the dashed box under the FAQs, titled “Embed this tool on your site”.
- Copy the code. One click on “Copy code” puts the exact snippet for that tool on your clipboard.
- Paste it where your platform accepts HTML. Every builder has a spot for it — a Custom HTML block, an embed element, an HTML card. The guides below name the exact spot for twelve platforms, in order, with the plan caveats flagged before you hit them.
That is the whole mechanism. The snippet loads a stripped-down version of the tool — no Verystep header, no navigation, just the tool — from an address built for framing. Your readers use it without leaving your page, and nothing they type is sent anywhere: the tools run entirely in the browser, as they do here.
Which platform are you on?

WordPress (self-hosted)
Custom HTML block. No plugin, no restrictions — the easiest embed there is.

WordPress.com
Custom HTML block — but iframes only survive on the Business plan or above.

Wix
HTML iFrame element, or Embed a Site with the bare URL. No plan gate.

Squarespace
Code Block — iframe code is a premium feature, Core plan or higher.

Shopify
Custom Liquid section in the theme editor. The reliable route for stores.

Weebly / Square Online
Classic editor: Embed Code element, free. Square Online: paid plans only.

Webflow
Code Embed element — custom code needs a paid Site plan.

Ghost
HTML card in any post or page. No restrictions, on any plan.

Blogger
Post HTML view, or an HTML/JavaScript gadget for every page. Free.

Google Sites
Insert → Embed, by code or by URL. Free — mind the manual height.

Carrd
Embed element, Type: Code — needs Pro Standard or higher.

Framer
Embed component — HTML mode for the snippet, URL mode for the address.
More builders
- Duda — drag in the HTML widget and paste the snippet. No plan caveat we could find.
- GoDaddy Website Builder — add an HTML section and paste into its Custom Code field; use the section’s forced-height setting if the tool looks cropped.
- Hostinger Website Builder — the Embed code element takes the snippet directly; no plan gate documented.
- Strikingly — the HTML app inside an “App Store & HTML” section, but custom HTML only renders on the Pro plan or higher.
- Jimdo Creator — the Widget/HTML element accepts the snippet. (Jimdo’s newer Website Builder does not — see below.)
Where can you not embed a tool?
Four platforms give you no way to run an iframe snippet, however you approach them. Knowing in advance saves an afternoon:
- Medium — posts only embed services on its allow-list, by pasting a link. Raw HTML and iframes are not accepted.
- Substack — the post editor strips custom HTML and iframes; its embed block works from an allow-list of providers only.
- Notion (public pages) — the Embed block takes a bare URL, not code, and arbitrary addresses render unreliably. The snippet cannot be used as-is.
- Jimdo Website Builder (Dolphin) — no custom code or iframes by design. Its separate Creator product does support them.
On those platforms, link to the tool instead. A plain link works everywhere, and the tool page is the full version.
Is embedding a Verystep tool free?
Yes — free for personal and commercial sites alike, with three conditions that keep it sustainable. Keep the small “Powered by Verystep” link the embed ships with; it is the whole price. Do not modify the snippet or re-host the tool’s code; the frame must load from Verystep, which is also how your copy stays current. And that is genuinely it: no account, no API key, no usage tiers, no ads injected into your page, ever.
One thing worth knowing: because the frame loads the live tool, improvements and fixes reach your site on their own. When a calculator’s rates are refreshed for a new tax year, your embedded copy is refreshed too.
Popular tools to embed
Start from any tool page — the embed box is always under the FAQs. The ones other sites reach for most: the Loan Calculator, the Compound Interest Calculator, the Random Password Generator, the AQL Calculator for sellers, the BMI Calculator and the QR Code Generator.
Frequently asked questions
Is it free to embed a Verystep tool?
Yes. Embedding is free for any site, personal or commercial. The deal has one condition: the embed must keep the small “Powered by Verystep” link it ships with, and the code must not be modified.
Do embedded tools track my visitors?
No. Verystep tools run entirely in the visitor’s browser; the site sets no analytics or advertising trackers, and an embed collects nothing about your readers. Whatever a visitor types into a tool stays on their device.
Which platforms can embed a Verystep tool?
Any platform that lets you paste custom HTML or an iframe: self-hosted WordPress, Wix, Shopify, Ghost, Blogger, Google Sites, Framer and Duda directly; Squarespace, Webflow, WordPress.com, Carrd and Strikingly on their paid code tiers. Medium, Substack, Notion public pages and Jimdo Website Builder (Dolphin) cannot take embed code at all.
What happens when Verystep updates a tool I embedded?
Your page picks the improvement up automatically. The embed loads the live tool from Verystep, so fixes and new features appear on your site with no work from you — and the tool never silently disappears.
Can I change the size of an embedded tool?
Yes. The snippet’s width is 100% of the space you give it; raise or lower the height number (520 by default) until the whole tool fits. Some builders, like Wix and Google Sites, size the frame with their own controls instead — the per-platform guides cover which is in charge.
Why does the embed use a different address from the tool page?
Normal tool pages refuse framing by other sites, as a clickjacking protection. The /embed/ address is the dedicated version built to be framed: same tool, without the site navigation around it.
