EuroMillions Number Generator

Generate random EuroMillions lines — 5 main numbers from 1–50 plus 2 Lucky Stars from 1–12, in the format shared by nine European countries.

This generator produces random EuroMillions lines in the game’s exact format: five main numbers from 1 to 50, plus two Lucky Stars from a separate pool of 1 to 12. EuroMillions is the transnational lottery shared by nine countries — the UK, Ireland, France, Spain, Portugal, Belgium, Austria, Switzerland and Luxembourg — with draws held in Paris every Tuesday and Friday evening. Match all five numbers and both Lucky Stars to win the jackpot: a 1 in 139,838,160 chance per line. This page makes picks only; it sells no tickets and predicts nothing.

Quick answers

What are the EuroMillions number ranges?

Five main numbers from 1 to 50, plus two Lucky Stars from a separate pool of 1 to 12. The stars are drawn independently, so a Lucky Star can have the same value as one of your main numbers.

The two pools combine into 139,838,160 possible lines — exactly the published jackpot odds of 1 in 139,838,160. The current ranges date from September 2016, when the Lucky Star pool grew from 11 to 12.

Can a number generator improve my EuroMillions odds?

No. Every line has exactly the same 1 in 139,838,160 chance of matching all five numbers and both Lucky Stars, and the same 1 in 13 chance of winning some prize. How the numbers were chosen — by hand, by terminal or by this generator — does not enter the maths.

A generator only controls the spread of your lines. Because so many players pick birthdays (1–31) and patterns, those combinations are shared by more tickets; a random spread over the full 1–50 pool makes a shared jackpot a little less likely, without making a win any more likely.

How does this generator pick EuroMillions numbers?

It shuffles the 1–50 pool and the separate 1–12 Lucky Star pool in your browser using crypto.getRandomValues with rejection sampling, takes five values from the first pool and two from the second, and sorts each group. Main numbers cannot repeat; the two Lucky Stars cannot repeat each other.

Both groups are drawn without replacement from their own pools, mirroring the real draw machines in Paris. Generation is entirely local — nothing is uploaded, stored or sent.

How to use

  1. Choose how many lines to generate: 1, 3 or 5.
  2. Click Generate numbers. The white balls are your five main numbers (1–50); the two amber balls are the Lucky Stars (1–12).
  3. Click again for a fresh set, or use Copy numbers to save the lines as text.
  4. If you play, transfer the numbers to an official EuroMillions ticket in one of the nine participating countries before the Tuesday or Friday sales close — this site sells no tickets.

About this tool

The Lucky Stars are a second, much smaller pool, and they drive the prize structure: there are 13 prize tiers, starting from just two main numbers, and the overall chance of winning something is 1 in 13 — the friendliest any-prize odds among the giant-jackpot games. Because the stars come from their own pool of 12, a Lucky Star can be the same value as one of your main numbers. The jackpot starts at €17 million and rolls over until it reaches its cap.

That cap is EuroMillions’ signature rule: the jackpot cannot exceed €250 million. Once it reaches the cap it can stay there for only a limited run of draws, after which the money must be won or rolls down to the next prize tier — a “must be won” mechanic that periodically produces enormous second-tier prizes. Periodically, announced Superdraws start the jackpot at a guaranteed €130 million or more regardless of rollovers.

EuroMillions launched on 13 February 2004 with just three founding countries — the UK, France and Spain — and Friday-only draws; Tuesday draws and six more countries followed. The Lucky Star pool has grown twice, from 9 to 11 in 2011 and to 12 on 27 September 2016, which is what set today’s jackpot odds. UK tickets also carry an automatic Millionaire Maker raffle code — a separate code printed by the lottery, not a number this generator can or needs to produce. Last verified: November 2026.

Frequently asked questions

What is the EuroMillions jackpot cap?

€250 million. The jackpot rolls up to that ceiling and no further; once at the cap it can remain there for only a limited number of draws, and if it is still not won, the jackpot money rolls down to the next prize tier with winners. Excess money above the cap also flows down to boost the tier below.

What is UK Millionaire Maker?

A raffle automatically included with every EuroMillions line bought in the UK: each line gets a unique code, and one code per draw wins a guaranteed £1 million. The code is generated by the National Lottery when you buy the ticket — it is not a set of numbers, so this generator does not produce one. Other countries run their own side raffles.

Where and when is EuroMillions drawn?

In Paris, every Tuesday and Friday evening. Results are published the same evening across all nine participating countries, and the pooled jackpot is denominated in euros, so winners outside the eurozone are paid at the exchange rate of the day.

What are Superdraws?

Occasional special draws, announced a few weeks ahead, where the jackpot is guaranteed to start at €130 million or more, funded from a reserve — regardless of whether the previous jackpot was just won. The format and odds of a Superdraw line are identical to a normal draw.

Do my Lucky Stars have to be different from my main numbers?

No. The Lucky Stars are drawn from a completely separate pool of 1–12, so a star can equal one of your main numbers — for example main numbers 3-11-19-28-44 with Lucky Stars 3 and 11 is a valid line. The two stars must differ from each other, and the five main numbers must all differ.

Are EuroMillions prizes taxed?

It depends on the country of purchase, not on the game: prizes are tax-free in some participating countries (including the UK and Ireland) and taxed in others (for example Spain and Portugal levy tax on larger prizes). Check the rules of the country where a real ticket would be bought.
