Email Signature Generator
Build a clean, professional email signature and copy it straight into Gmail or Outlook.
Email signatures look simple and break in surprisingly specific ways: mail clients strip stylesheets and modern CSS, which is why this generator builds the old-fashioned way — nested tables and inline styles on every element, the only approach Outlook, Gmail and Apple Mail all render the same. The generated markup uses no scripts, no external stylesheets and no tracking pixels.
How to use
- Fill in your details — the preview updates as you type. Add only the fields you want shown; empty ones disappear.
- Pick a layout and an accent color that matches your company branding. If you have a logo, host it online (your website works) and paste its image URL.
- Press "Copy signature", then paste it into Gmail (Settings → General → Signature) or Outlook (Settings → Compose and reply). Send yourself a test email to check it.
About this tool
Everything happens on your device. Your name, phone number and email address are typed into this page and never sent anywhere — the copy buttons put the signature on your own clipboard. If you add a logo, it is referenced by URL (standard for email, where attachments would be stripped), so host it somewhere stable: a logo that moves will break the signature in every old email too.
Keep it short. A signature is a sign-off, not a brochure: name, role, company and two or three contact routes outperform a wall of links, and several jurisdictions require specific company registration details in business email — your employer may have a required format, which always wins over a generator.
Frequently asked questions
Why tables? Modern CSS exists for a reason.
Email clients are the reason — Outlook still renders mail with a word-processor engine that ignores most modern CSS. Tables with inline styles are the only layout every major client renders consistently, so that is what gets generated.
My logo does not show in the preview.
The image URL must be publicly reachable (not a file on your computer) and start with http or https. Open the URL in a browser tab: if the image does not load there, it will not load in email either.
Can I use this signature in Apple Mail?
Yes. Copy the HTML code, and in Apple Mail create a signature, then quit Mail and replace the signature file in ~/Library/Mail — or simply use "Copy signature" and paste into the Mail signature box, which works in current versions.
Will the signature work on mobile?
Yes — the layout is a single flexible table with a maximum width, so it reflows on phones. Send yourself a test and open it on your phone before using it with clients.
Is my contact information stored anywhere?
No. The generator runs entirely in your browser; your details exist only in the form, the preview and your clipboard.
