Privacy Policy

Verystep provides free online tools. This policy explains what we do — and mostly do not — collect.

What we do not collect: everything you type into a tool (text, numbers, dates, passwords, images) is processed entirely in your web browser. It is never sent to our servers, stored, or seen by us. Image tools read your files locally; nothing is uploaded.

Third-party data sources: two tools fetch public data directly from your browser to free public APIs — Weather Lookup uses Open-Meteo (open-meteo.com) and Currency Converter uses Frankfurter (frankfurter.dev). The OCR tool downloads its text-recognition language data from a third-party host (tessdata.projectnaptha.com) the first time you use it. These requests go straight from your device to those services; our servers never see or proxy them, and your images and text are still processed locally in your browser and never uploaded. Those services have their own privacy policies.

What we may collect: basic, anonymous server logs (such as pages requested and error records) used only to keep the site running. We do not use tracking cookies and we do not sell or share personal data.

Third parties: Verystep currently displays no advertisements. If we add advertising in the future, this policy will be updated and a consent banner will be shown before any advertising cookies are set.

Affiliate links: some tools show a recommendation card suggesting a third-party product or service. These are genuine recommendations, not advertisements. If we join an affiliate program in the future, those links will be clearly labeled as affiliate links and this policy will be updated. We never sell your data.
