Is my IP stored anywhere?
No. It is read from your connection, displayed on the page, and never written to disk or sent anywhere.
Why does it show a different IP than I expect?
If you use a VPN, corporate network, or mobile data with carrier NAT, sites see the exit IP of that network — not your device's local address.
What is the country shown?
A rough geolocation from Cloudflare based on your IP. It is country-level only and can be wrong near borders or with VPNs.
